The Tshirt Painter

Introducing our new website TheTshirtPainter.  We have been building it for the last month now.  We had CPShop installed by Vine Grove Web Design so we could pull our our Christian shirts and designs into our own domain.  Our Christian shirts are very popular and TheTshirtPainter is a easy url to remember for our friends and customers.   CPShop is a great way to pull your Cafepress designs into your own domain and even the shopping cart for customers stays on your site, even though it is a Cafepress shopping cart.

With God all things are Possible

God Works through You.  When you obey God, He will accomplish through you what He has purposed to do.  When God does something through your life that only He can do,  you will come to know Him more intimately.  If you do not obey, you will miss out on some of the most exciting experiences of your life.

When God purposes to do something through you, the assignment will have God sized dimensions.  This is because God wants to reveal Himself to you and to those around you.  If you can do the work in your own strength, people will not come to know God.  However, if God works through you to do only what He can do, you and those around you will come to know Him.

You have to believe that God is who He says He is and that He can and will do what He says He can do.  When you obey Him you have allow Him to do what He has said.  God does His work through His believers.   When God calls you to do a God sized task, faith is always required.   From Experiencing God, Knowing and doing the will of God.  Blackaby &  King.  If you haven’t done the 12 week Bible Study of Experiencing God, we highly recommend it, it will change your life.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the greatest force ON Earth.  When we are baptized as believers,  Christ says the Holy Spirit will come upon us, and dwell with us, leading and guiding us in the direction of God’s perfect will for our lives.  The Holy Spirit knows God’s perfect will for our lives.  The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity of God- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.   The Holy Spirit is on Earth,  indwelling in His Believers.  Put all those numbers together, and you have one powerful force on Earth.

Ephesians 3:16
That He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, with might to be strengthened through His Spirit, in regard to the inner man, that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, in love having been rooted and founded, that ye may be in strength to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, to know also the love of the Christ that is exceeding the knowledge, that ye may be filled–to all the fullness of God; and to Him who is able above all things to do exceeding abundantly what we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us, to Him is the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. This prophecy was speaking of Jesus, whom God raised from the dead, and we all are witnesses of this.  Now he sits on the throne of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.

But when the Father sends the Counselor as my representative – and by the Counselor I mean the Holy Spirit – he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I myself have told you.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don’t even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

Galations 5:22 -

But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  5:25  If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

The Christmas Story from us to you.  Merry Christmas Everyone!

Luke 2:4-20
And Joseph went up from Galilee, out of the town of Nazareth, into Judea, to Bethlehem, the town of David, because he was of the house and family of David, To be put on the list with Mary, his future wife, who was about to become a mother. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she had her first son; and folding him in linen, she put him to rest in the place where the cattle had their food, because there was no room for them in the house.

And in the same country there were keepers of sheep in the fields, watching over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord came to them, and the glory of the Lord was shining round about them: and fear came on them. And the angel said, Have no fear; for truly, I give you good news of great joy which will be for all the people: For on this day, in the town of David, a Savior has come to birth, who is Christ the Lord. And this is the sign to you: you will see a young child folded in linen, in the place where the cattle have their food.

And suddenly there was with the angel a great band of spirits from heaven, giving praise to God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on the earth peace among men with whom he is well pleased. And when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, the keepers of the sheep said to one another, Let us go now to Bethlehem, and see this thing which has come about, which the Lord has made clear to us. And they came quickly, and saw Mary and Joseph, and the child in the place where the cattle had their food. And when they saw it, they gave them an account of the things which had been said to them about the child.

And all those to whose ears it came were full of wonder at the things said by the keepers of the sheep. But Mary kept all these words in her heart, and gave much thought to them. Then the keepers of the sheep went back, giving glory and praise to God for all the things which had come to their ears and which they had seen, as it had been said to them.

God as Creator

Genesis 6-8 Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.”  And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens.  God called the space “sky.”  And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day.

This is an image I created in Paint Shop Pro 8.  I am a long time photographer of nature and the beauty of God’s Creation always hits me with such awe.  Every day it is fresh and new, whatever the season.  The clouds were captured on my digital camera outside one warm afternoon.   I wanted to create a picture of what the earth was like before God separated the waters from the sky.  I used my digital art tools in Paint Shop, and this picture just emerged.  The original is large and breathtaking, giving us an idea of the earth as God formed it in his hands.  Wow, just imagine.

I will share my excitement for life with other people.   I will make someone smile.   I will go out of my way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don’t even know.  I will give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down.  I will tell a child how special he is and I will tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean to me.

Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don’t have and start being grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me.   I will remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God and His Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine.

And tonight, before I go to bed,  I will go outside and raise my eyes to the heavens.   I will stand in awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon,  and I will praise God for these magnificent treasures.

As the day ends and I lay my head down on my pillow,   I will thank the Almighty for the best day of my life.  And I will sleep the sleep of a contented child,  excited with expectation because I know tomorrow God will show me new miracles.

When you recognize God as Creator,  you will admire Him.   When you recognize His Wisdom,  you will learn from Him.   When you discover His Strength,  you will rely on Him.

BUT only when He saves you,  will you worship Him……
